Hide Codes
Category: Uncategorized

This site is coded a little differently than the old legacy Myspace 1.0 and other current and former sites that mimic it. Meaning a lot of the hide codes for those sites won't work here. After toying around with a similar site here's what I've gathered thus far:

Hide headline details:

<font style="display:none;">

Hides view my links and profile link:

<style>.txt_label {display:none;}</style>

Hides display name:

<style>.nametext {display:none;}</style>

Hides comments:

<style>.friendsComments {display:none;}</style>

Hides text. Be advised that this removes all text but the display name, and removes the display picture as well:

<style>.text {display:none;}</style>

Hide interests:

<style>.interestsAndDetails {display:none;}</style>

Hide details:

<style>.userProfileDetail {display:none;}</style>

Hide extended network:

<style>.extendedNetwork {display:none;}</style>

Hide extended network text:

<style>.blacktext12 {display:none;}</style>

Hide blogs:

<style>.latestBlogEntry {display:none;}</style>

Hides blurb title text:

<style>.whitetext12 {display:none;}</style>

Hides friends:

<style>.friendSpace {display:none;}</style>

Hide user albums:

<style>.userAlbums {display:none;}</style>

Hide logo and footer:

<style>div#logo { display: none;}
div#footer { display: none;}

table#table1 { display: none;}</style>

Hiding the remaining strip of the footer and adjoining blurbs title:

<style>td { background:none; }

.blurbs {
background:none;</style>

Hide everything:

<style> tbody {display:none;}</style>

Notable issues:

As of now, the report user link can not be hidden if you want the display picture/link to gallery, blurb, and headline text to appear. It's all grouped together.

The quotations mark that shows before the headline is also part of the text grouping and appears to randomly be floating in the code so there's no way to remove it without hiding all of the text. While this is fine for fancier layouts, it's a pain for more basic layouts using the existing elements.
